This small extension transforms the building to which it is attached. As well as providing a separate dining space, it establishes a new connection between the kitchen and living areas, making a continuous loop of the internal circulation. Compared with the original bay windows, the views available from the existing building are more diverse, and the view from dining area is the only one that is completely unobstructed. A lengthwise beam supports the glazed and solid sections of the roof, with a drainage channel above and a lighting channel below.
