Retail & Commercial

To create a more inviting space for a delicatessen café, the ground floor of a shop was removed to leave a two-storey void. Supported by the party walls, a new mezzanine established a sequence of higher and lower spaces moving between the street façade and the rear wall, where a large window replaced the original brickwork. Close attention to the detailing of the tables and chairs brought an appropriate sense of intimacy to this impressive interior.
