Research & Exhibitions

Sankalpa is an installation created by David Adjaye in collaboration with the filmmaker Shekur Kapur. Film and architecture merge to redefine the parameters of how films are viewed and architecture is experienced. The resulting installation, entitled Sankalpa, focuses on a crystalline object comprising three spaces and experiences – an architectural embodiment of the film Passage. The exhibition, which was held at Swarovski in Austria, sought to surprise and stimulate a fresh approach to the varying media.
